... and then I sent Baen an e-mail about egregious plot-irrelevant cissexism/transphobia within the first ten pages of Captain Vorpatril's Alliance (link contains a six-line non-spoilery excerpt).

I know they request Not Sending E-mail About Typos, but, um. Um. And so on. And not wanting any other trans* people to get quite the unpleasant shock I did over it.

Will update if they handle this the right way (which I have faith they will!).
