Vorkosigan Readthough: Feedback?

Okay, so I noticed interest dwindling in the comment sections of the readthrough posts. Why is that, and how can I fix it? Are we going too fast? Are my conversation starters bad? Something else?

I'd have loved to participate, but all my books are packed at present and I really need to 'revise' the details first. (Not that I'm someone who has stopped commenting, but I haven't started commenting and wanted to explain why. I love the idea of going through the series.)

I keep seeing posts and thinking I want to participate! But then I don't know it's time for the chat about read-through until it's actually happening and of course I haven't re-read the book recently enough to participate.

For me, then, it's going by too fast and I need a reminder that it's coming up soon. (I'm reading the posts and thinking of things I want to say, but I'm not sure enough of the canon to go ahead and say them.)

I'm thinking more of a mid-week reminder - time gets away so fast and before you know it, it's July. I see the reminder and then don't think about it until the next time you post, but a nudge would do me good.

I think two weeks should be fine? But if other folks wanted three, I'd be good with that as well.
