The entire top level of a planetary government, not to mention every middle-level element of security personnel, is going through extended simultaneous coronaries! Illyan is probably tearing his own hair out. Gregor's guards may well be contemplating hara-kiri. Aral... well, it's no wonder the man develops heart trouble later in life.
And then Miles turns up after a routine diplomatic mission, with the missing Emperor in tow, to announce that he found this and is returning it because his diplomatic mission wasn't exciting enough! :D
