Two recently posted fics, both part of my Simon Illyan Is The New Black season:
I meant to mention here earlier a fic a lot of you have read already (thank you): the heart is hard to translate, gen with some M/F, though really Simon/chip. It is a "Simon sniffs out intrigue at a state dinner" story, with bonus Barrayaran Magical Realism (or something slightly more technological/neurological than that). I don't know: the party is in Simon's head; let's go with that.
Next, and even more wacky, is a (totally gen this time) crossover adventure blending the Vorkosigan Regency with "Person of Interest" (the American TV show). Sparrow's summary goes: ImpSec analyst Harold Finch and ex-Armsman John Reese are both lonely outsiders; together, they fight crime. Though that will change, if Simon Illyan has anything to say about it.
Should be comprehensible to all readers, familiar with the show or not. I don't even know where this came from, but it was a heck of a lot of fun to write.
